Popped in to Duckworths this morning for an EPB clean-out (had a couple of squealers). As usual - excellent service Turns out my pads only had a thousand or so miles left in them and the disks were also pretty worn, so I was invited into the workshop to take a look at the job and the brakes just to check I was happy with them being replaced. It made sense to do them anyway, as it didn't add anything to the labour cost. Always nice to see behind the scenes and to see Steve and the folks in the workshop too.
They've had a few changes there (George is now working in their Isuzu Franchise on the same site, and Karl is no longer in service), but it was nice to catch up with George who was passing through. Anyway, with the new staff changes, there still appears to be the same excellent levels of service and most importantly nothing's changed with the excellent bunch of guys in the workshop.
I'd decided to wait whilst they did the work (I'm 40 mins away and with the bad snow, it wasn't worth driving back to the office), so it was nice to drink them out of coffee (literally) and use the free wifi to do some work - I even got a mince pie!
Still very highly recommended - especially for those of us in East Yorks/Hull. Definitely worth the bridge toll and the travel to avoid the chimps at the other local main dealers

I would have to agree. I travel up from Norwich as the local dealer is rubbish.
