I wonder if anyone can help? My disco 3 has 255.60.18's fitted at present. I want to fit AT2's but can only get 255.55.18's. Is this ok?

Ran a set for 40k no probs, obviously speedo very slighty out. Why can you not get 60 profile they've been about for some time now, had aset on the old D3? It's my mud so keep out!
16 D4 HSE Loire blue cannot deny a change this time!
13 D4 HSE Nara Bronze no ones noticed I hope!
10 D4 HSE Nara Bronze - already muddy!
07 D3 SE silver

255.60.18's are out of stock and won't be in for a couple of weeks. The 55 series are available now. I don't like the idea of the speedo being out though

is the weight rating the same on the 255/55's. I suspect its a bit lower than the 111 needed for the D3.

255/55 18s for GG AT, AT2 and Pirelli ATR are all 109XL load rated.
That's a chunk below the LR approved number of 111 but the XL is a mitigating factor...
Tell your tyre place to try harder or go to someone like Ken or Andy on here Club missing my D3

Just had the AT2 fitted today (255,60,18) what an excellent winter tyre. The best bit was the 8" of the white stuff when I drove out of the : garage

I was talking to a friend in the motor trade yesterday. He said that AT2's are near impossible to source at the moment. He reckons that the bad weather has caused a huge increase in demand.
