European Breakdown Cover - any recommendations?
I have got quotes from as little as £60 to £210 (with aa, icl parts and labour). Is it safer to stick with the "Big Names" eg AA, RAC, or are others better value (Green Flag, Europ Assistance, Brittania)? What points should I look for when comparing policies?

I have been with Europe Assistance for nearly 30 years now. Needed their help a few times in all these years. Once after breaking down abroad, but also for flat tyre or empty battery. I have always been served well by them. Would recommend. When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead, remember what the dormouse said: feed your head. (Jefferson Airplane)

If you collect Tesco Clubcard points then you can get 66% discount (used to be 75%) and they now do european cover.

Tesco's cover is sub contracted to RAC, and though RAC do provide European cover, Tesco/RAC does not, only UK.
Asda deals with Britannia though."...I'm so broke I can't even pay attention..."
