4x4 Screen on SAT NAV LR 4 SE

Hi All,

I recently attended a LR experience day and was told that I could unlock the 4x4 function on my Disco 4 SE. I was told to look on here but I can't seen to find the information. Can anyone help?

HI

I have unlocked many 4x4 info, vocie control etc etc, but since you are so far away i cant help in person this time.

You will need to buy the Faultmate MSV2 produced by Blackbox-Soloutions , this will give you the option to make CCF edit changes to your car allowing you to switch things on and off, it will also give you full diagnostics for the full car which im my optinon is more advanced than the landrover dealer tool.

If you need any more info please dont hesitate to contact me or BBS further, i have various BBS tools in stock ready for shipping.

Hi Pete,

Thank you for your reply, it is greatly appreciated. I was under the impression that all you have to do was enter a code etc and the option opened. I am not the most tech savy person in the world and would be terrified playing around with the computers in the vehicle. Surely this would also raise questions should there be a problem later on and what would happen to the warranty?

Hi Pete,

I am in the same situation of Alan. Do I understand right that the 4X4Info, Voice Control and Cruse Control are there, they just need to be activated? Can I ask the dealer to activate these?

Their is as you say a way to make the 4x4 info show, but every time you start the car it will need doing again where as a real activation will make it available all the time.

The dealers can not activate these features, the only way is with the BBS diagnostic kit.
