| Horn Sounding after bulp replacement |
|
Had to replace a headlight bulb at the weekend.
Apart from having real hard time releasing the headlight module - the slidey up things were well stuck, all went OK after that tho
Now every time I lock the car from the key fob the horn sounds.
I have slammed the bonnet many times to no effect, I have taken off the grill again and refitted.
Still no joy,
What I am doing wrong? D4 HSE - Aintree Green

Wasnt when I looked on Sunday but am working away this week.
SWMBO told me yesterday "its still doing that horn thing". D4 HSE - Aintree Green

most likely the bonnet open switch is stuck I'd guess and theeeeennn......???

do you get the "bonnet Open" message on the dash ?
just give the bonnet switch under the Right Hand Side bonnect catch a wiggle. most of the time it just needs re-seating Duncan
