ECU reset and ECU self study afterwards on gasoline V6 4.0

does anyone know how to reset ECU on D3 V6 gasoline 4.0 at home or
is it possible at all?
my the other cars have ECU reset procedure that can be done at home
that is mainly;
1. disconnect "-" cable from battery for 20 secs.
2. reconnect, start car, let it idle for 1 min. then turn off
3. restart w/ ALL elec devices on linghts, AC, lamp etc, idle 1 min. turn off
4. restart, make sure all elecs are off and change auto shift from P-R-N-D very slow and do it again.
5. Drive car w/ all elec off very slow till shift changes from 1-2-3-4-5 and slow down slowly from 5-4-3-2-1 full stop to park.
6. repeat #5 w/ all elec on. completed.
this procedure will customize ECU to fit the driver.

my D3 is 06 jan model run 15,000km for time being and i'm having 2 problems .
1. shift change at slight uphill - on level street the auto shifting is done at
~2000 rpm, but at even slight uphill shifting is at 3000rpm or bit more
(low range only 1-2-3) which i feel unneccesary use of power. all my
other cars shifts at 1700~2500rpm range. i took her to RL service and
reply is what i expected - "NORMAL"
so i'm wondering if i can reset the ECU and teach my D3 how to behaive
to fit my taste.
2. vibration at idle- engine vibrates at idel both at "D or N" , RPM is
acceptably stable though, my service manager says "NORMAL"
so wondering if i can solve the problem by 2.1 cleaning throttle body
with carbone remover? 2.2 replece engine mimi(spell chk?, it's rubber that
obsorbe the vibration from engine to body)
so my Q's does anyone have cleaned throttle body and is it DIYable?
