Yup, grab it at the bottom (both sides) and just pull towards the back seats. Then lift the bottom up and ease the air vents free when you do so It's quite tough the first time, but they're strong, so don't be shy Bodsys Brake Bible

finally got around to fitting mine today, nice & straight forward thanks to the tips on here..
Anyone got pics of the "bad" coupler and the "good" coupler (ie the one that works with heated wheels..) - or how to tell them apart when the wheel is off.
Cheers!56 HSE

HSE Leather Steering Wheel
Hello
I am new to this but find it vry interesting and useful. I am looking for a leather steering wheel for my 2006 Discovery v6 HSE. I live in South Africa but a friend has offered to bring it out if I can source one in the UK. Can anyone help?
Much appreciated.

Big thanks to TLO
Thanks to TLO for sorting all the parts required for the fitting of my smoooooth leather steering wheel and relevant buttons, top man . Completed this weekend, the tips on here made the install so much easier . All i need to do now is save for the damn expensive clockspring and the smooooth wheel will become the heated smooooth steering wheel (heated one bought and fitted in anticipation).

The offer is now closed, however if you contact TLO then you should still get a darn good deal with the forum discount.

I know this group buy has finished, but was wondering there was enough interest to maybe start again?

I Would like to buy a new steering wheel for my 2008 3. My current one has lost all its grip and is very worn. Although still under the manufacturers warranty, Land Rover wont replace under warranty and my local dealer is not at all helpful and have quoted £260.00 for a new one!!!!
Firstly how can I get my hands on one and arrange for it to be fitted
Cheers

Someone's taking the wee-wee, about half that from TLO @ Yeovill (see two posts above yours.)
Easy to change with a 16mm socket and a wire coat hanger hook to unclip the airbag.
if people ar interested then i'll haave a look at what price i can do for multiple buys
i know i will not get to the original group buy price as we've had numerous price updates and vat changes since then but will post what i can soon TLO has left the building.......
