transmission fault !
I am quite new to the D3 - wonderful so far though !
over the past few weeks the 'transmission fault' message appears.
i took it to the stealer (under warranty) they said that they couldnt find anything - and no record of the fault on the computer
I'm a little worried since it keeps appearing then clearing itself and i am wondering if this is a sign of something much more serious to come ! and /or if this is a common fault
any ideas welcome

Hi
I have a transmission problem also. When selecting "D" it does not show up on the screen as being selected. If i move the lever back and forth it will come on and drive ok.Also if i break hard it also takes it out of "D".All the other gears work fine even in manual.Very cold in my part of the woods wondering if this is having a effect on something.
Is there a gear selector switch on these D3
Regards

I had this come up. Went away once I had charged the battery.

Mine had same problem (more in cold weather)
Prooved to be slightly low battery. With new batt i now only get the message when it's below -20.
Only an idea.

thanks Jonno1 - what do yuo mean after you had charged the battery - do you mean after a run (so the battery charged) or do you mean the battery is ready for replacement so you had to remove it and charge it

Took it out and charged it. I don't think it had ever had one.
