What's the scam here? These guys "look" reputable; but they're selling (or at any rate advertising) all their cars at massively low prices. In the small print for this one it mentions the "retail" price of 30k euros. So what do you get for your €4400?____

I don't think it's a scam ...just a mistake. Their website has it for sale at € 28,449 http://www.ckw.ie/21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

DG, I'd be fine with it being a mistake if all their other cars were sensibly priced (on Autotrader.ie), but they're not, so this may be an attention-grabber they use on that publication. Looks to me like a deliberate policy of "erroneously" pricing cars - all with typos in the price - in their advertising?
Dunno. For just a few seconds I thought I'd found a bargain ____

think they do this so that the add is recognised as the cheapest as we are in a recession, but reality is there tends to be a catch when the real price is realised. On an e-bay style site in ireland, another plot some use is at the bottom of some adds they put in x5, Q7, RRS, Discovery3 etc.. so that if you do a search for say 'discovery3 wind deflectors' you tend to get more results based on the above. just something i have noticed recently.
See how it goes. They were VERY quick to act (minutes) when I reported a scammer contacting me when I was selling a (genuine) car.____

This is quite a common ploy on Auto Trader, one that I've complained to them about in the past. It often involves pricey cars offered at ridiculous prices, often Mercs. Not usually a dealer but just a mobile number as the only contact. I think it's a 'send me the money, we'll send you the car' scam.Make the most of this life, you may not have a Landy or skis in the next one.
