D4/D3 wheel compatibility

D4/D3 wheel compatibility

Anyone know if there are any issues in interchanging D3/D4 alloys - the D4 has larger brakes but runs 19" wheels as did the D3 HSE; so are they directly interchangeable (the old D3 alloys to go onto the new D4 during winter) or are there any issues? They do physically fit but not sure if there are off-set/inset etc issues?

Got the answer Very Happy - thanks to Steve at Marshalls LR - that as the wheels are the same "pcd, size and offset" they will fit with no problems at all. Very Happy

I have a set of D3 19" HSE wheels with MTRs for my D4 and have also seen an LRE D4 equiped like that. Thumbs Up LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
