My Latest quote (FL2) went from £378 last year to £936 this year (Admiral), NFU quoted me £720, Comparison sites were coming up at £700+, Eventually went with Adrian flux (brokers) for £555 with a specialist 4x4 insurer inc. off road cover and legal cover-(finance charge for instalments pricy-best paying upfront)

I'm afraid the rises are across the board - 20% is being quoted by friends in the industry!. LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

The above thread says it all really. I did get NFU down to £647 after phoning them up and discussing the price rise, but all the usual excuses apply I'm afraid.
My excess is now £500 to offset the increased risk my post code now attracts
Bl00dy Hell!! Where on earth do you guys live, some sort of crime capital? Or are you all accident prone sprogs? My D3 was £267 fully comp with protected bonus through the RAC. Run silent, run deep!! HM Submarines Conqueror, Churchill, Renown, Ocelot, Porpoise, Onslaught.

GunManchester is just along the road, 'M' postcodes used to signal bad insurance risk, now SK for Stockport seems to have joined in.
Bloody hell Gareth, If the "burbs" of Bramhall are rough, am fecked in Egerrrrrrrrly, right by the ground!
Might explain why NFU wouldnt return my calls last year then! The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

Junior, renewed in July for my previous 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, changing to the D3 in September only increased it by £28. Run silent, run deep!! HM Submarines Conqueror, Churchill, Renown, Ocelot, Porpoise, Onslaught.

NFU wouldnt quote me at all with a Birmingham postcode in September (despite being with them for a number of years up until about 2 years ago). My renewal from RSA via Adrian Flux went up from 450 to 1600 (approx), and I've had no claims or anything over the last year.
I went with Tesco in the end at 630.

You got off lightly then, I have a life time of no claims bonus-no points etc, and they still hammered me
