Yes, but the original question was regarding the best price for a D4, we just got sidetracked with the suggestion of the NFU discount, which not unnaturally, I referred back to the time I was thinking of changing the FL2.
I am now thinking of replacing the other LR and I am a bit confused - so basically, whats the best NFU % discount allowable on the D4, accepting that you may squeeze the dealer a little bit on RRP price, but obviously it wont attract, if applicable, any special rate finance or LR support money if you don't take the intertest free option that may be on the go at that time?

Ticktock - The nail has been struck squarely on the head! 
NFU discount varies by trim level (see chart in my other post) then see what you can get on top from your dealer! The only issue is that the NFU offer is only guaranteed until 31st December, therefore it's a case of finding a stock car or taking a gamble that it will continue into Q1 2011.
