Renewed my Warranty Direct Policy
Just renewed my WD policy for a second year after being very pleased with it last year. Managed to keep on the Extra Care policy by paying a little more and retain my no betterment removal, zero excess, airbags and emissions, 13 months, 0%APR over 10 months etc. Very pleased. At 94K, this will take me through to December 2011 with about 24K miles/year.

I've recommended a few people to go with them, and they've been very good over the last year on my policy, so I've posted positively on here, that said, I don't think I've got any sort of super special discount/price, so I don't think there's any harm in sharing: £580.2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Um. That seems pretty good to me... thanks, I'll give them a call when my LR one expires.____

Apply on their website, you'll get an extortionate quote, wait for them to call you and start the haggling, if you've got a while before it's needed that gives you loads of time to get the price down You can arrange for it to start once the manufacturers warranty expires and avoid the 90 day no claims period. You don't start paying for it until it starts.
Have a browse of the site for what you should be getting them to include in the warranty, here's what I gotThe End

As Slimer sez, weird way of working but hey ho! Had a few little claims through but been great so far. All authorised by my dealer through One Link system and ticketyboo. If you don't expect it to fix every niggle & rattle you'll be happy, IMHO a good replacement for Tesco.

Yep as above - definitely read all the small print. That way, if they refuse a claim for an item that's not covered, you won't be surprised! 2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

Just had a quote with WD, their ExtraCare level, for my 56d3 se. Premium is £654
Cover
You are eligible for our Extra level of cover and I have attached our policy booklet so you can view exactly what we cover. In addition, Warranty Direct cover you for Wear and Tear claims on your vehicle meaning that if part has failed because it has “worn down†then we still cover the claim, this may sound straight forward but beware of some companies offering cover only against “Immediate sudden failureâ€. If wear and tear isn’t covered, almost any claim can be turned down as a result and wear and tear claims account for a large percentage of our work.
In addition, we cover problems found in your MOT or annual service which is a massive factor and we also cover consequential damage (damage caused by uninsured parts). If you don’t have these four areas covered on your policy then the warranty has a readymade get out clause.
I Will also give you emissions and airbag cover along with Faults found at service and MOT + Wear & Tear after 90day this just allows us to eliminate any pre-existing faults
Compare your Warranty
• Do they have a wear and tear exclusion?
• Do they have a consequential loss exclusion?
• Do they cover failures found in an annual service or MOT?
• Do they cover the cost of diagnostics?
• Do they have an overheating exclusion?
• Do they guarantee 100% of the hourly labour rate?
Warranty Direct guarantee all of the above.
Still comparing warranties. My exisiting provider is WarrantyWise, but checking WarrantyUK as well (though @ £375 pa, it initially seems a no-brainer)."...I'm so broke I can't even pay attention..."

Just done a quote for mine, £654 for ExtraCare or £994 for Luxury Care Makes the LR one look cheap.
I assume all you good folks who got a better price have haggled... ? I've got 11 months left on the LR warranty so can certainly take my time to push costs down.____
