Might as well add my own 'bespoke' grill conversion to this thread, just so you can see the variation of conversions that are around.

chiliman,
You need to use photoshop or a similar program to re-size your chosen image to a maximum of 150x100 pixel image.. then upload it to the disco3 server using the avatar upload in your profile page57 RRS TDV8

.... BUT, you'll need to resize it down to approx 133 x 100 before uploading.

Many topics in the Mods section on a grill conversion. Check Ronp's gallery as well.
Or mine...
That grill and headlamp units are absolutely stunning.
Wondering where can somebody get hold of them, the headlamps are great, too, and enhance the exterior appearance in a great way.
Happy Friday to everyone

Hi there,
just came across this post as I'm looking at modifying my own D3 Grille and I have to say it's the business altogether
Was it a big job? Can you divulge how much is cost? Was a hacksaw involved?

Have a look at this thread, it's not a full breakdown on how i done mine, but should give you the general idea as to what is involved.
As for a hacksaw, i actually used an air hacksaw as well as a dremmel.
