I've noticed over the last couple of weeks a gradual reduction in power and it was particularly noticeable today so I hooked up the BAS interface and got the above code. Looked up the code which is : Exhaust Gas Recirculation "B" control circuit low. Can anyone tell me which side egr valve is on the way out from this and an estimate of how long before it goes completely. I'm supposed to be going to Edinburgh tomorrow to pick up swmbo from her sister's ( a return journey of around 180 miles) and she wouldn't be best pleased if: a) I don't make it or b) we break down on the M8 on the way back. Any help or advice would be gratefully received For I am a raindog too.

have you tried Wynns ER spray???? it might be cheapest quickest solution to your issue
I use it and must say it does help a lot to maintain EGRs and inlet manifold

oh by the way even if it failes you can still drive safely with it
I have done around 450 with NS valve stuck before replacement under warranty
Haven't used it but might be worth it as a temporary measure. Because it's a euro 4 engine I can't just blank the egrs This will be a test of Warranty Direct luxury cover because I assume from everything I've read that the egrs are covered and I'll be reet annoyed if they don't pick up the tab. Still good to know I can carry on using even though it feels on hills as though I'm driving one of those little Indian cars from TATA instead of a big Indian car from TATA For I am a raindog too.
