Go read www.landroverhell.com

A site focused only on the minority of bad cases. You could replace landrover with any other marque in that website address and find just as many complaints.

should i buy

Am i fedup wth it, no i like the car.
Before i bought did some research on this forum, for how reliable, came out quite good, so i made my purchase
of D4 HSE
Came across landroverhell.com, that put the wind up me, also a fault came up on mine only after 340 miles,
restrict power.
So i am apprehensive to say the least, would'nt you be?
Regards
Colin

Landroverhell.com has been around for some time. The site is not new.

It seems to be run by someone that had a problem that has psychologically scarred them for life and they appear to be on a one-man crusade to have LR banished from the face of the earth... Rolling Eyes

Can anyone let me know if there is much to choose from between dealers in terms of price and availability. GS in Sheffield reckon they can get me in the Discovery 4 on 26JAN11 but want my car by end of November. Ideally, I'd like to get the disco and swap at about the same time or early Jan at the latest so if anyone knows of any dealer with available cars please ley me know. I'm based in S Yorks but don't mind a reasonable journey for the right deal.

Thanks.

Having had an abysmal experience myself (considerably worse than on any other kind of car I have ever had), I would certainly like the local dealer to be banished from the face of the earth. Would be nice if LR made a product that was more reliable - there seems to be an expectancy that it is normal to have some problems.

In some ways I would love to get a D4 some time but I had my fingers badly burnt and don't want to have the same experience again. If I buy one it will be rather newer (maybe brand new) than the D3 I did buy (5 years)
