L/R Extended warranty- Worth the paper its written on??!!

More of a rant than a question-
Its been discussed over and over again, but I decided to buy it this year-
My Disco 3 is 4 years old and currently has 47 k on it.
Clutch started juddering (manual) and I took it in secure in the knowledge I had my "warranty"
Guess what- Its normal wear and tear-
Just had to stump up £1,200 for a new clutch and flywheel !!!
Be warned............

Embarrassingly in for the 2nd round, bought another two

D3 Jack Russell carrier
D4 Landmark for towing duties
