Garmin Nuvi Satnav

After being a Tomtom user since V1, I recently moved over to a Garmin Nuvi - it's an excellent piece of kit, anyway...

When it came to putting it in my D3, I couldn't decide where to mount it - the central cubby seems popular, but even putting wires through a hole in the cubby and running them sown behind, the mount is slightly unsightly, and unless removed, is tempting for pikeys. I hate windscreen mounts, so I started wondering what I could do with one of the cupholders...

I made up a mount from the Nuvi mount, a modified Belkin Tunedok, and a Glockenspiel beater!!

This is perfect - it's within easy sight and reach, all the cables are hidden, and being low down, is out of easy view of the light fingered elements.

Thankyou. A hotly contested prize, I'm sure.
