How come every time Land Rover are just getting their head above water, they get shafted by the parent company ??
BMW bought Land Rover & brought with them better build quality. But as soon as they robbed the technology & got the likes of Hill Descent & ACE for their X5, they sold off LR.
The only good thing about that though was LR were able to shake the noose of Rover from around their necks.
Now here we are again, LR have some superb models in their range & really making a stand in the market place & we get the news that they might be sold off again. This time possibly being lumbered with Jaguar.
I’ll say one thing though, it sure is testament to the Land Rover vehicles that the brand is able to withstand this sort of hopping from Billy to Jack, but I really worry about how much more of this LR can take before they slip off into the abyss

I wonder how much warranty is costing LR for the D3/LR3/RRS?
This is my first LR and I've owned 7 brand new cars before (all Japanese but) and none went to the dealer for continuous warranty issues as this one.
I still love the D3 even with it's little quirks.
