No D3´s in Catalunya
Not a happy chappy!
I´m having to suffer a nasty Peugeot 307 as my rental car for 10 days and as yet, after 3 days I have not seen a SINGLE Discovery 3 on the roads or autopista....
Have seen the odd Freelander, X5 and ML370. Plenty of XC90´s about though....
On the plus side (I think ) its stinking hot - I have a phone photo of the temperature guage ready 42 degrees - and this after the car cooling down from a standing 44 degrees Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

On holiday!
Two plus points since original post...
I have seen one now! A Zermatt D3 cruising around L'Ampolla looking for a parking space on Friday night - not easy!
Gave the 307 a good pasting up in the mountain tracks up to my sisters place - ground it out at least twice - and it's an utter gutless bag of sh*te - the D3 would have been absolutely perfect
Fortunately the pug was scratched all over before I got it - and I got the signature and piece of paper to prove it - the rental company's not going to know about the 'new scratches' on it 8) Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Hmm - got back to the UK today! Got caught (slightly) in the airplane mess - only a one hour delay for me
In the end I saw a grand total of four D3's in the 11 day stretchSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

It's bl**dy cold in the UK though...
We had the most bizarre weather on Tuesday evening.
We were walking back alongside the harbour of the small fishing village we were stopping near and one of those huge black cloudbanks came over - everywhere went yellow - gods honest truth. Then the howling wind came in off the sea, and a sandstorm blew up off the beach, couldn't see your hand in front of your face. This was followed by a 30 minute hailstorm with lumps of ice near the size of golf balls, all topped off within the hour with a fantastic electrical storm...
