Funny enough I've had a small but on going niggle with another Guy Salmon branch (Stockport), who 99% of the time have been great and I'll say now I'd buy from them again without worry and would recommend them to anyone here.
I bought my vehicle (58 plate 2009) back in January this year and noticed quite a few new roads (few years old now) were just not showing. When I checked the disk it was an old 2006 version. I'd tried to get in touch with the sale guy who put the disk in when I collected the vehicle and had no luck. Any way I called again yesterday and left a message again, and got a call straight back from the senior sales manager, who in short sorted it out straight away today... fantastic guy to deal with.
Although it should be common sense that front end sales people look after current customers as well as potential customers, I'm surprised these days by how many just aren't interested once they've got your money... and the extra bit of service from this sales guy did take me back a bit.
Recommendation for Guy Salmon Stockport.

I'd like to echo the comments about Guy Salmon Sheffield.
I've had terrible service from them on a number of occasions. The last time they didn't fix the the thing they were supposed to and i'm too furious to ever go back!
Their problem is that the service managers seem to take no ownership of the problem, they say enough to fob you off for the day then when you collect the vehicle they've almost nothing to identify the problem.
Feedback is on it's way to them.
I won't use them again having put about £1000 of business there way.

I have to disagree with what has been posted on the whole, although i have only had warranty work carried out ( i did buy the d3 from them),
I had a leak on the ps highlighted by tfc, having told guy salmons what the problem was popped across with the d3 they didnt have a 10p oring in stock so a £20 fuel bill for a 10p oversight.
But when i took it in with water leaks, brake recall and steering angle sensor, they dealt with all problems efficiently and quickly.
i am in the process of building a relationship with them if after time i am not happy i will talk it through and if it cant be resolved then i can go elsewhere.
As for a local indie doug dransfield never used em just see em around.
