Sorry to cause you so much concern - I joined this forum to ask questions and post information. Is that not allowed? why so much hostility to a new member.
Like greenP155 you appear to operate without getting your data correct. If you read, I have posted information and opinions as well as questions.

I think disco that some of your early posts led us to believe that you were not interested in the D3 or LR .....E.G.

We are not particularly enamored with newbies to the site who start dissing the D3 or LR.
If you want to gain some knowledge about the D3 then by all means ask....but be nice about it .......and we will be too 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Ok - first very serious question. Will they put the V8 diesel in the disco. If so, when? is the Metropolis the start of the process?

There is no firm date set for the V8 to be introduced into the D3 ....in fact it's difficult to get anyone to admit that the V8 will ever go into the D3. Some say 6 months some say at facelift '08 \ '09 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Is yours diesel? - are you happy with it? It seems like buying a computer - a constantly moving target. You just have to jump in sometime. Tomorrow it will be out of date.

The TDV6 is a superb engine ...very refined...and if you go for auto ..they are perfectly mated. I am more than happy with it. V8 is just too thirsty for me...sounds nice though. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Mine is diesel, pretty quite once off the mark. I went for the manual to be more economical. But test drove an auto before i went for the manual. auto is easier to drive, but manual gets you more engaged to the driving experience.

Just to get back on topic, I've made some changes to the registration system to make the fonts used clearer
Next step is to remove 0, O, S, 5, Z, 2, 7, 1 and I

I've got to admit that it took me about 6 attempts to register - it take it that all chars are now lower case? If so, the statement in the left column about it being case sensitive is a bit misleading.

Hi Davie, thanks for the feedback
I'm pleased to say that this is now FIXED
The confirmation system no longer says it is case sensitive (all letters are uppercase) and easily confused characters such as '2' and 'Z' are no longer used
