I was wondering if someone can confirm if either all the DVD software is the same between SE and HSE models or if the HSE contains another version? Also want to know if the HSE version is different if running the HSE version in the SE will provide the additional off-road SatNav capability?

There's standard SatNav and Premium SatNav. They're not car model specific. You could option them on any model.
I don't think the standard SatNav has the 4x4 info. The disk itself is the same, the diference is in the head unit, I think, or the DVD unit itself. I don't knwo, there's a difference somewhere in the car, not in the disk. Have a nice day!

I'm aware there is Premium SatNav and normal SatNav. My SE has the normal. I'm not after the 4x4 info etc. What was interesting is when i got my Disco 3 (one of the 1st to come into South Africa) they arrived with the UK/Europe disc in. This contained the 4x4 Navigation option as part of the SatNav, not the 4x4 info. Then 3 months later the South Africa SatNav disc was ready, they inserted the disc, it showed that it was loading new firmware and software from the SatNav disc and then the RSA maps was there on the disc, BUT no more 4x4 SatNav feature!
I want my 4x4 Off-Road feature BACK! That is why I'm asking the question..
Thanks for al the response guys!

Sorry, now I understand. Then in answer to your question... Dunno!
I actually think that the offroad nav is garbage. I can't upload into it, the breadcrumb trail is pathetic, the altimeter is wrong and can't be adjusted, and it only shows in long/lat, whereas I would prefer UTM (MGRS at an absolute minimum).
I'm going back to the garmin or the pda for off road nav. Have a nice day!
