Tyre Inflators

Have any forum members bought a Michelin Hi-Power rapid Tyre Inflator or one of those T-Max Portable heavy duty jobs (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/T-max-Portable-Compr...dZViewItem)

If you have, what are they like? I'm asking because I bought a cheap 12V tyre inflator once before and it was totally useless so I'm looking for something a bit better. The Michelin one doesn't look too bad but as the last one I bought was also a Michelin and was a pile of poo I'm a bit wary of splashing out on another one.

The T-max one looks the biz but it is designed to be clipped directly to the battery terminals and I'm not sure if that would cause problems to any of the Disco's electronics!
Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills Smile

Well, mines the smallest of the 3 Rolling Eyes but it packs one hell of a punch Wink .

It's a Viair 90P and cost me £50....around £20 -30 cheaper than online. With the engine running.. I attached the leads to the battery ...used the integral tyre deflator on my nearside wheel and took it down to flat ....this BTW was without any supporting jack. I then turned on the compressor and WAWOAL it inflated back up to 33 PSI in about 5 mins ...absolutely superb...excellent...the DB's Very Happy

Not tried mine yet, it's a 300p (that's whopping 210p's more than DGs (but a 100p's less than TFCs)). We can have a inflation race tomorrow night Wink
