Vibration at speed

Can anyone help? I have recently changed the rear tyres and now have a vibration when at motorway speeds. I have put the car back in and had all the wheels balanced. This has not improved the situation. the local stealer now wants £ 180 for wheel alignment ? Any ideas what else it could be ? Thanks for your help

Sounds real stupid but have you checked the wheel nuts are tight? May be pointing out the obvious, sorry. If not a wheel bearing. Could also try another tyre place to havethem balanced. I had this when put Tyres on, went back and they checked. One was out so they putmore lead on. Thumbs Up

After a period of vibrations pull into a service station and check carefully that you do not have a hot wheel, use the back of your hand against the flat part of the wheel. If one is noticeably hotter you prob have a partly seized on brake calliper or EPB shoes. Had 3 of mine replaced for this, checked one after vibrations and the disc was glowing red. Any drop in mpg??

After checking e wheel nuts are properly tight. Whistle

If no hot spots and if all nuts are torqued ok, I'd ask Ken nicely if he could balance all the wheels for you. You could also have what's often referred to as 'an egged' tyre i.e. misshaped causing a high spot.
