Is it worth £26,000?
Hi folks,
Iam in the process of upgrading from a Disco 1 to a D3. One i have come across is an 07 plate TDV6 HSE auto in Teal Blue 42,000 miles. Full Landrover service history. One owner. It's immaculate. They said that they will let me have it for £26,000.
Is this price about right?

Hi Garry,
I bought my 2006 HSE 12 months ago with 33k miles, for just under £25k. Used prices have risen since then, so I'd say it's likely to be about right. Best way to judge though is to compare with other matching spec vehicles on Autotrader.Lloyd "Phat Face"

Don't think it's a million miles out, depends if any extras and assuming it's an auto, possibly a little high but if it is mint......Errr, ummm, maybe...oh bo**ocks, just do it !

I'd call ahead first, if they know to expect you rather than just turn up they are likely to more relaxed about you viewing the car. I went when I was searching after calling first, they were quite happy for me to go for a solo test drive for as long as I needed (within reason). You wouldn't get this everywhere. My 07 HSE is immaculate with 42 000 miles on clock, privacy glass, side steps, and tow bar, FSH , and I contemplated selling it (private sale), last 2 weeks.........a dealer quoted me 21000 to buy it from me, but after lsome research I thought it could sell for 24000 max as private sale....... My crisis ended and and decided to keep it.
I think a private sale for such a car might be about 22- 24K, and I see dealers selling for 26 - 29 K. so if you get a warranty for your car at a dealer selling at 26 K then Id say its a good buy.

I'd say it's a good buy, with the maintenance records, and the condition.
