Why do we not have an offroad section? LR's roots?

I see a lot of posts on tweaking silly stuff such as for dvd's and other blingly things ...

Can we not create a section for real 4x4 aspects, such as driving OFF-ROAD, mods, tweaks, kit and making the vehicle more efficient & offroad friendly?

I see the posts and this site turning into someting for the onroad posers and not enough space for what LR was intended to be?

Is this the wrong site for discussions regarding what LR had purportedly the designed the vehicles to be -- off-roaders?

Perhaps we can share the ups and downs on extended and other other offroad driving in a convenient space for discussion? It may be the best pace to be on this site ... off the beaten track!!!

Thumbs Up

Sounds a great idea to me.....but if the majority of users are talking about bling, I don't see a problem with that either....

We (or should I say Martin) could argue that if there were more people interested in purely off-road discussions, then they would already be posting lots more messages about the subject and therefore the bling aspect would be diluted down anyway Whistle

I'm personally more interested in functional/off-road preparations and maintenence then bling, but the site is big enough for all tastes....sounds like a good idea though Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

So what you are all saying is......

That you would like the "Maintenance & Modification sections for D3 & 4 splitting into "Bling Mods" and "Mud Mods"

Question

I don't think the OP is talking about off-road events and stuff like that - just an area focused on off-road preparations and expeditions etc (although the more I think about it, the less I see how it could be done)

Ken - after you've washed your mouth out with soap young man, you can just go straight to bed with no tea. Laughing

My thoughts on why the Dark Side had a OR section was to inform the majority of RRS drivers that there is more to off roading than bumping up on the kerbs!
