Keep getting suspension fault coming up. If I keep driving then I get told not to exceed 30 mph and the warning light turns from orange to red. The suspension does not lower. But sometimes when I park and put car into access hight the suspension, once it has gone down to access hight, decideds to raise itself right up to off road hight.
Turning ignition off and then restarting usually clears it, but sometimes it does take a few attempts.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

Compressor or height sensors would be my starting point.
If the compressor is very noisy - could be the reason. Have you also had the message "vehicle rising slowly" and/or "vehicle will rise when suspension cooled" ?
The height sensors can get corroded which will cause this problem.
You don't show which year your vehicle is - there was a recent recall for suspension software update as well as sensor changes to rectify a problem whereby some height sensors were more susceptible to moisture and corrosion. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
