| Stafford Land Rover - any good? |
|
I am thinking of taking my D3 to Stafford Land Rover for a service and some minor repair work.
Have any of you used them before? Any good / bad experiences?
I assume that even by walking through the door i will be charges a small fortune but I have just bought my D3 and want to get it serviced and checked over.
Any thoughts?

you've one of the best guys to do this not that far from you in Derby, namely TFC (member on here - 10forcash. he is mobile, so get in touch with him via email.

Well, just spoken with Stafford Land Rover. They will charge me £97 per half hour to diagnose any faults BEFORE providing me with a quote for the parts and labour 
I asked if the diagnostic charge would come out of the final bill if i decided to go ahead with the repairs, "NO!" was the the simple one word answer.
I guess i shouldn't be surprised.
I think i'll go elsewhere....
