Guy Salmon - Stockport, 45k service... |
|
I just had my D3 serviced at GS Stockport. Excellent communication throughout, all problems that I reported are addressed, including new front steering ball joints and track rods. The car was spotless on collection, and the bill was suprisingly good value considering I asked for a couple of extra bits to be done.
The best bit was the fantastic D4 they loaned me whilst mine was in the workshop. It was a GS in Alaska White 8) Certainly stood out in the golf club car park

How much did they charge you for it? I take it the D4 was a perk given the site connections - they usually give you the Mini's.

Just a smidge over £400 inc vat, I asked for the fuel filter to be changed, and a new rear wiper arm. They did say it also needed brakes/discs, tyres and front wipers, all of which I declined at the current time, as they all still have a bit of life left.
I can't say if the 4 was a perk or not. IMO its a very good sales ploy, as I now want one, and will try a deal before mine is too high on the miles. I have had Mini's in the past, I think its what they have available on the day.
