Your welcome. Glad to be able to pass the savings of me buying in bulk on
You need to be careful as there are a few people selling philip's filament bulbs which are nothing to do with philips and are made in china. they claim to use glass capsules from philips and install them into a chinese base. Many other bulbs have found their way out of the back door of a factory
The bulbs I have are 100% original, 100% made in Germany
For anyone wanting a whiter light I can confirm that the best bulbs for a whiter light and perfect beam pattern are the http://www.hids4u.co.uk/d2s-bulbs-6000k-upgrade-pair.html These are whiter than the Philips Ultra-Blue and a fraction of the cost. They are whiter and brighter than even the Philips Colormatch as can be seen below with colour match being on the right. Also I can confirm that have taken out the colour match bulbs i used for a while and replaced my D2S bulbs with these 6000K units and have got a pair of D1S 6000K bulbs with me to put in the sport when i get back home next week:

I have also upgraded the fog lights with H11R HID bulbs:

This upgrade is to give more light in fog - not to drive around with fog lights on, please!
And final image is of reversing camera connected to the D3 Sat Nav via the GVIF unit (see other posting)

Hi All
I have just replaced my HID bulbs with the new Osram Cool Blue intense. The last cool blue bulbs were expensive and crap - as they used a blue coating. These have a reall 5000K colour and they claim 20% increase in output. I am really impressed with them and they are actually brighter than the more expensive Philips Blue bulbs.
They go perfect with the LED sidelight upgrades - and I would say they are really the best bulb I have tested that seem the get the balance between light output and looks just right.
Regards
Ian

There are no brighter bulbs out there than these - they look amazing but of course dont give as much light as the original bulbs due to the LED bulb not being able to create the same beam pattern as LEDs are not in same place as the filament. Amazing none the less

Ok here goes - a summary of the latest upgrade bulbs vs standard HID xenons
First this is the Osram Cool Blue Intense D2S bulb - the best bulbs I have tested and the ones I have fit to my car:
Our D2S upgrade bulbs are similar to the cool blue intense in 6000K (about 10% less brightness though) and to Ultrablue/colour match in 5000k without the blue at the sides of the beam pattern.
These are the Philips Ultrablue - still give a yellowish light and not worth the money - Osrams are brighter and whiter:
And for those of you that have not yet upgraded this is what OEM 4100K looks like in comparison:
From the front its hard to catch the difference but I think this one does it - Philips Ultrablue (Right Hand Headlight) vs Osram Intenseblue (LH Headlight)
Hope that helps

Hi Ian,
Are the Osram intense blue 6000k's... and how much are you doing them for? Spoke to you already regarding http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/post808047.html#808047 might just pay the extra and go for these... as mentioned I'd like them to be a close match to the LED side lights (have you got the 360 13 intense LED's in yet in white?)
Spoke to Dean today to arrange the interior LED's you kindly advised me of but went to read it back to him what I needed and the bloody net went down so I'll get back to him tomorrow to place my order!
Cheers Ian
