Do your 2nd row headrests shake about?
Every bump, pothole, crack in the road induces my 2nd row headrests to shake about and the seat linkage makes an audible noise. I've got an '05 and am wondering if this is common and I should just enjoy the headrests waiving to me in the rear view mirror. The very top of the 2nd row headrests go left-right about 2 cm's over bumpy roads.16 D4 Landmark

Mine are rock solid. No movement when on bumpy ground at all. Sounds like something not right.Bodsys Brake Bible

I've had dealers work on rear seats twice and I assumed they all shake over bumps.16 D4 Landmark

Sorry, but you are right to complain. Put more pressure on the dealer but it's definitely not right and don't take any excuses. Is the seat frame loose? Could be a safety issue.Bodsys Brake Bible

I'll take a video of the seats, post a link here and let the experts decide if mine move (and rattle) more than normal. Update soon, thanks Bodsy.16 D4 Landmark

Do you have 5 seater or 7 seater?
Just curious... the headrests are different on 5 seaters than they are on 7 seaters. 5 seaters have the RRSport type headrests, the 7 seaters in the US generally have the larger headrests.
NOTE: I have seen early 05 US model 5 seaters though with the 7 seat style rear headrests and diff carpet colors.

Mine shake too, no help to finding a solution for you, but should reassure you that you are not alone Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

Mine shake, But not now a bungy from outside seat to outside seat stopped it (That's what the loops on the back of the seat are for isn't it?)Cheers Paul

Dear D3 2nd Row Shakers:
Do you have '04/'05/'06 D3's? Is this a symptom of older more thrashed in D3's? Did LR change the design?
I'm hoping to post a video of my 2nd row dancers in the next few days...... 16 D4 Landmark
