I've just spent about £10k on a new engine++, so I feel I have to keep the car. Tie rods, ends, brakepads, rotors, new bushes etc on order now. Prepearing to keep him for several years! And I just love him....

Has anybody else had a letter from Tesco recently that they will not be renewing policies once they expire.
Unfortunately very old news as they have stopped selling policies since 1st Sept (or was it Oct) 2009 ISTR. I miss them but, touch wood, havent had to claim from the new peeps yet.

Hi Everyone - New on here. Had my D3 since February 2005. Had the D2 before that and the D1 before that. However this is the longest I've ever kept a car and can see me keeping it for at least another 5 years. Driven it down to the Costa del Sol and back twice now and no problems. Let's hope it stays that way.
Enjoy the forum and all the posts.
