Why does my passenger mirror.... |
|
.....dip itself when the car's left parked? mirror is perfect when I park up, when I get back in the next day it's looking at the floor. Quick press of the memory button returns it to the right position. reversing dip is turned off btw.
This has happened before and lasted for about three weeks,I have a spare mirror assembly that I can fit, the reason that I didn't fit it is that the problem went away, but it's been happening again for the last few days.
Will the mirror assembly even solve it? or is it something deeper inside the cars brain?
Not a major issue but I'm interested as to why it's happening

I think it is something to do with the memory seat module - a known fault that used to happen on mine - never bothered getting it fixed TBH

Cheers chaps, I'll probably just ignore it then, a puch of the mem button sorts it anyway

Mine used to do this. Storing the "normal" and "dipped for reverse" positions for the mirrors for all three memories, for each key seems to have fixed it. (Thanks to 10forCash for the tip!)
