should be possible, the loom goes up to the O/S headlamp, once the rest is fitted it just needs to be enabled in the CCF

I asked this question of my dealer. Similar reply, but they said that front pdc was not available on the accessory list, it seemed to be a factory fit option only. However they went on to say the individual parts could be bought. Their service department had not retro fitted front pdc but thought the only limitation would be that the front moulding has no holes for the sensors. When the car is bought with front pdc as a factory fit the bumper must come pre-drilled.

I have not persued it further..yet.

I repositioned the two centre PDC sensors on mine when I fitted the winch, all you need is a holesaw - 22mm from memory - and a rat-tail file to cut notches for the two locating tangs. the inner bumper cover skin should have the positions already cut out and it's likely that the PDC holes will be marked

Yes you can do it, i fitted them to my D3. You need to get the loom, left bezel, right bezel, 2x center bezels, 2x outside sensors, 2xinside sensors.
As 10fc rightly said, the holes are marked on the inside of the bumper cover, the loom connects the four sensors together and then terminates behind the drivers side headlight next to the front fog light connector. ye will need the dealer to activate them in the ECU they are able to select front only, rear only, or both.

Or if this works out too expensive, then you could buy a non-LR aftermarket set for less that £100. Fitting would be a similar effort, but you'll just need to add a power source and fit the buzzer inside (maybe under the dash).

Larger Halfords stores have a display of these and offer fitting. I seem to remember it costs around £150-£200 (depends if you have 3 or four sensors) and they charge another £20 if you want the sensors painted.

Well i live in Ireland and we use Euro, the parts cost approx €200.00. My dealer enabled it when it was in for a service, so that did'nt cost anything.

Just been to my local dealer and priced up the parts, £200 for the parts and £350 for them to fit it, Think i'll be ordering the parts and doing it myself and getting them to enable them later.

Nope, the outers are fine - they seem to have a narrower 'viewing' angle, the centre ones were OK with just the winch but do ping the A bar... Rolling Eyes I could reposition them a bit further out but then i'd have holes in the bumper cover.
they're masked with butyl rubber tape to stop them activating constantly and to be honest, the winch makes a pretty good PDC anyway
