Superb service yet again from Duckworths.
Dropped the car off, to be taken on a test drive with one of their mechanics to work through the faults I was having and to discuss them. The guy was clearly hugely knowledgeable, and it was great to have a chat about the various faults and to have a bit of the background explained to me. How many other dealerships in the country have a mechanics who are such LR fans - this guy did up Series Landys in his spare time!?
Work was diagnosed as failed air compressor, worn front and rear ARB bushes, worn centre and outer track rods and failed bottom ball joints (with the exception of the compressor - very harsh suspension, weird feelings through steering wheel, odd noises etc).
Got a loan car for the duration of the work which was great as it minimised any inconvenience for me. Nothing is too much trouble for Karl and George in reception who updated me at various stages of the work and explained the various options to me.
In addition they handled all the work with the warranty company and getting various bits authorised which I think was a fair amount of extra work (will feed back on this under a separate thread).
The car feels superb now it's back. Very smooth and quiet and the steering is now very sharp.
Still very highly recommended, especially for those North of the Humber. It's a 70-80 mile round for me and it's worth every mile. Makes a huge difference in ownership with the backup of a decent dealer.
Fantastic staff and perfect service.

I must say I have to agree. Booked in today for service and MOT, drove down after work first thing this morning, provided with the loan D3 for the day, car ready for 5pm and given a good wash!
I had a couple of issues the last time the car was with them, but they have honestly raised their game this time, would definitely recommend them. A good hours drive from Hull but well worth the extra effort.
Karl is really good to deal with!
