LR Team Valley - One more thank you from Germany
Just a quick word of appreciation to the guys at LR Team Valley for the excellent and speedy support we got from them while being on vacation in Northumberland last week.
While driving to the Amsterdam-Newcastle ferry noticed a light squeal. Found one rear wheel disk much hotter than the other and disk showed signs of glazing. Funny that - the car just got through its second service two days ago...
When in Newcastle called LR Assistance. They sent the AA out which came after an our. He found a stuck pad in the calliper and cleaned the pad. Pad was already partially delaminated from the backing plate and had chunks missing. As the AA guy did not have parts with him decided to drive by Team Valley (thanks to this Forum) on Monday to get the pads changed. Walked in, explained the situation, an hour later we were on the road again with new pads and loads of copper slip on the pad/calliper contact surfaces. Job done.
Again, thank you for your help. Might take you on to book the car in for service the next time we are over...

I was talking to the guys at Team Valley on Wednesday and they mentioned a German member had popped in. I meant to post a message to find out who it was - but now I know
