Land Rover Team Valley
Top marks again to the lads at LR TV.
Car got towed in on Monday with a broken drive shaft and the lads got it through the workshop and back on the road for Wednesday morning.
Thanks again to the two Graham's for the quality service. For details on the next Kielder Safari click visit the Kielder Safari website

Did mine Sunday.
Recovered to Lancaster, Reading.
Got FL2 from LRA Monday morning (didn't like it as it goes, nasty horrible thing)
Got call from LR saying not covered under warranty Monday afternoon, £450 to fix. Have to give FL2 back.
Gave FL2 back this morning and hired a Corsa this morning, brand spanking new and really good!
Read this thread earlier and called LRCS who in turn called Lancaster.
Lancaster say they won't cover as my car is "heavily modified", ie, they don't like my 20" Stormers.
So, is it just MY wheels they don't like or is this a general thing with LR dealers?
I'm thinking that MTR's on 17" would put more stress through a driveshaft than my 20" with LTZ's but presumably, as they would only be 17" OEM wheels, they'd be fine
What made me laugh was the chap from LRCS was in shock that I didn't have OEM spotlights, perhaps that's what's bust it!!Welcome "Lola"

Update
pay for part, fit free of charge so a compromise is reached.
Basically, if you (me) fit 20" wheels you have modified the drivetrain and thereby run the risk of invalidating that part of the warranty.
Moral of the story, if you break something, pop your OEM wheels back on before it goes in for service.Welcome "Lola"

Update...
According to LRCC by taking your Land Rover off road, particularly a spot of green laning, you invalidate you warranty if something breaks as "they're not supposed to go off road"
