Replace or repair?
My Wife drove the D3 today, as a result the O/S wing mirror has some chunky scratches on it having been in contct with a rough stone wall
Not the end of the world, but it would be nice to keep the D3 looking new for a little longer.
Is it possible to replace just the cover, if so how much?
Anyone ever had any exterior plastic repaired by the Chips Away type co.s.?
Thanks.

Apologies, second error of the day. Missed out the word "mirror". It's the mirror cover I'm talking about.
I think it could be easily repaired any reccs. as to which co. to use?

If you are brave you could always use fine sandpaper on the affected area then carefully pass a 'blow torch' set on low from side to side to reglaze the plastic. Did this on my D2 ....you would hardly know the difference 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
