Fuel Leak

My car (7 week old, ~1000 miles in) went in for the LR Assurance updates (software updates), have a piece of trim replaced and have what I thought was an oil leak checked out. Turns out the oil leak is somewhat more serious - a fuel leak.

I'm feel quite nervous now about this car. I can understand minor teething issues but the idea that diesel leaking through the engine day seems pretty worrying to me.

I'm curious as to what my rights are on this. The dealership is fixingthe problem next week but I'm feeling pretty nervous and upset about this.

Many thanks

A fuel leak will almost certainly be a split pipe or a loose conector. Bad luck as a very rare fault.

Simple fix and permanent. I would not worry that this will reoccur or have caused damage.
