If you're happy with your brakes performance and are absolutely sure there are no signs or traces of oil in the existing pipe and servo then for the sake of £20(ish) for the new pipe set up, then I would say go for it...peace of mind that way.

Brakes gradually get worse and you may not notice untill you relise how much better they are after the mod.
There is a connector in front of the servo; open ot and tap the line onto your hand, if there is oil in it try to get dealer to put the recall mod on.
If they won't speak to VOSA. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Isn't this connector actually a one way valve, the engine side of which can be expected to show the presence of oil?
My understanding is that the whole purpose of the one way valve is to stop oil reaching the servo and that the best place to check, if not the easiest, is at the connection to the servo.
The above refers to vehicles in the VIN range before the recall.

There is no valve at the connector, the valve is in front of the servo.
One way valve should prevent anything moving up the pipe. If oil has got to the connector then there is a problem and will eventually get into the servo.. Oil in the pipe results in lower vacuum boost. If it gets into the servo itself then complete loss of boost pressure can occure. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
