Bloody right I did.....
Shame though really...... if you leave it that dirty you do get lots of admiring glances and people pointing with surprise that a D3 in Surrey has actually been off-road 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Besides Steve ...we have a water ban thingy going on round here.......apparently due to Thames Water losing a third of the daily supply to leaks and NOT getting fined for it while their shareholders and directors reap the rewards and muti-million pound packages and live in big houses with lawns that require a full time gardener and a major sprinkler system to keep it in shape.... I could go on
Not bitter at all of course 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I got some comments on Friday when mine was parked outside the office.
But it was great splashing water all over the street with the jetwash on Saturday... Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
This sounds encouraging !! I had no end of problems with the Thames Ditton Dealership when I had a Freelander a few years ago. I traded it in for a 2.5 year old Disco II and vowed never to return to the dealership for servicing. Instead it always went to an independent in Merton, and I have to say that they were excellent.
I've just bought the D3 from Thames Ditton, so I am very pleased to know that you are a satisified customer! Mine goes in next Friday for a software upgrade and I've got one of their cars for the day - let's hope it all goes smoothly and it isn't a repeat of what I remember.Si

No, never had a problem with them ...and this is my 2nd car in 4 years. ...and I'm quite difficult to please when it comes to customer service21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Well my baby has gone in for A034 and A036 Recalls today. I believe these are largely software updates so it will be interesting to see how she behaves when I get her back.
The dealer is also going to update my ECU now that I have a towbar fitted and will also look at the drivers window that tends to make some awful noises as it goes up and down.
Early indications are good - dropping the car off was easy and my Team Leader very friendly. I hope that the pick-up goes to smoothly and to plan!
Courtesy car is a very nice surprise - Range Rover Vogue, 3.0 Diesel, Auto. Very nice, but I prefer my D3! Hell of a rumble from the engine that makes it noisier than the D3, but I appreciate all the gadgets inside (my D3 is only an S so no electric seats, sat nav or anything).Si

Many thanks to Service Managers, Roberto & Terry, for restoring my faith in GSTD after my 1st service debacle in December. A problem with my EPB and rear diff was solved very satisfactorily ....and most importantly, without any fuss ! Well done chaps 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
