I have actual fixed it thanks, I popped the paddle out, wire brushed it down, painted it and put it back in.
I did notice the rubber cover had a Ford logo on it, so I guess it's off a Fiesta or some other cheap motor.
I wanted the part number so I can track down from the assembly via some engineers at LR which area is responsable for specifing this and tell them that they have picked the wrong finish.

I'm sure LR will listen, after all they've demonstrated an almost telepathic ability to understand the need to sort out the EPB and EGRs to great and lasting effect.
