DSL - thanks for the tour of Hogmoor yesterday morning - certainly helped me get my bearings and avoided me having to drive through that rather deep hole you kindly pointed out for me
If by "pointed out" do you mean "drove through, bow wave over bonnet and almost got stuck"?? There were some pretty deep holes in these puddles, especially the ones JF had been through them (just!!) then forgot to warn us!!!
Didn't get to take too many pics this weekend...and the ones I have got are not the best... (I'll blame the tools - my Nikon is in for repair and was using a compact...)
Anyway here's a few:
Sat morning gathering
A couple from the lanes (and Glynne's ex-D3 still being put to good use by the new owner...)
(and Charles spent the weekend driving around with his new roof tent up top...)
Sunday...
Of course...there has to be one of Mr. Cousins rescuing his Defender (again...within the space of 5 minutes... )
GavinB...stuck...I think he had been sitting there for some time until we finally heard his radio call...so we all rushed over and did what every fellow D3 driver would do...laugh, joke and take photos...eventually we went and got a Marshall to drag him out...
Oh and absolutely no idea who this guy was...some johnny foreigner getting stuck...apparently Reggieb couldn't pull him out with a rope or with a snatch recovery...(so I am told... ) In the end it needed NonStickNick to winch whilst using Reggieb's D3 as an anchor as the guy was really bogged down...(so I am told... )
Parked at the tunnel...new number plate courtesy of a very helpful Halfords
Thats it (I'll see about a couple of videos I got at a later date)The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeksnearly 4 weeksover 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Best thing about being in the number plate club is that nobody has to remove your number plate from photos for before posting so you're just being helpful!D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Some cracking pictures and the weather looked 8) , a taste of summer I hope. The freelance photos are fab, could make a calendar up with some of those pics alone ... and sell to raise H4H funds ... I'd buy one!
