Really nice.
Then it was a good idea to buy them chrome!!!!
I will post the pictures as soon as I have the time to put them on

How did you fix them? Was the red double sided tape already with the caps sufficient or it is better to add more of it?
It would be a shame to loose them while washing the car etc

I see you have done other changes to the front, what have you done exactly?

Thanks

I also secured them with a bonding agent the likes of Sikoflex, Tiger Seal etc.

Have a look through these to see what's been done to the car.

Get it from ebay, or body repair supply shops.

Did you use it to seal the mirror caps close to the edge (ie is it visible?) or did you just place that where not visible? I would like to avoid to have water passing below the caps.
If it is in a visible place is the gey one the best or is the black one better?

I cannot find shops of that kind Embarassed

Thanks

If you can't find Tigerseal, then try looking for Sikoflex 291 - a marine adhesive/sealant......it's very similar and sticks anything.

I would personally just use a couple of small amounts 20mm from the edges - you don't want it to squeeze out to the edges as it'll look awful. Don't put too much or you'll never get them off - this stuff is much much stronger than normal sealant.

Water ingress shouldn't cause any problems so I woulnd't worry about it Thumbs Up

Don't think they'll fit an 04 FFRR, are the mirrors the same as later FFRR/D3/RRS?

FFRR Cups : Caps primed LR004867. Does that help? I think there are only upper cups. Don't find the Censored the list anymore with the part nr. from FFRR. If you can organize for me FFRR Cups and could delivered at the price you offer the D* Cups I would order. Try to find that list.
