I hooked a trailer up for the first time over the weekend.
The car has got the twin electrics fitted and these were already in place when I bought the car.
I thought that when you have a trailer hooked up the rear parking sensors where supposed to stop working and the trailer light on the dash is meant to flash when you indicate.
All the lights on the trailer worked but none of the above worked in the car.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Simon.

I think the car needs to be told about the tow electrics being fitted so needs to be enabled by either a dealer or someone with the right kit.

Simon.
