This morning I made a call to my wife using my V3 coneected by BT in the D3. She was also handsfree in my M3 using BT. Dialling etc went fine but she hung up first and my D3 refused to let go within the car, despite pressing the hang up button.
I switched off the phones BT to try to get thigs going again but it would not let the stereo work. I also checked the phone was hung up - it was.
I therefore spent the rest of the journey in silence, and hoped that when I arrived a quick turning off of the car would sort it out - it didn't (this has happened with my M3 before and all I needed to do was pull over, turn the engine off and then restart).
When I go back to my D3 at the end of the day do I expect it to have sorted itself out or is there another way I should intervene? In addition is there a way of getting out of this system crash 'on the move'? 2008.5 D3 HSE, Stornoway, Ebony

It should have cleared after being parked up for a while..
When you 'rebooted' it, did you wait for the clock display to go off (approx 2 minutes) or was it a quick turn off - turn on?

Mine has done this once or twice I found after about 15 mins the system cleared on the move
Also found that its better if I dont pair the phone until after the car has started coincidence maybe

This is obviously a pretty fussy system. Mine seems to prefer the phones BT to be on before you turn the ignition on and then it autosenses the phone easily. I'm still not sure that waiting for 15 mins whilst moving or 3 minutes when stationary is very good for a £40k car.
Does this warrant a visit to the dealer?
Is there a key press reset option? (a question for the hackers out there!) 2008.5 D3 HSE, Stornoway, Ebony

the system is developed by Nokia, who also make the hardware for LR, i've never had a problem with it and it sucessfully pairs automatically within a few seconds of unlocking the vehicle (with a SE phone too  )
If I had a criticism, it would be that the range is too good, sometimes it grabs a call if i'm in the house and the car is unlocked or has been locked only a few minutes ago
Of course it could be a problem with the BT implementation in your handset - if the phone has 'hung' try removing the battery, this should clear the link to the car

My V3 used to do this fairly regularly.
If you switch the phone off, then back on it should clear it.
Now have a Nokia N80 which has never hooked up (so far) Zambezi Silver TDV6 HSE - TC'd

I use a cradel. I would say that some people say that the conversation is boomy, is this because I have the volume too loud or have I got a problem? DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

depends what you mean, if there is an echo, turn the volume down slightly, if it's a 'boom' as in too much LF, try adjusting the tone controls

Try to keep the volume at 20 or below. This seems to stop all the moans from the other party. TDV6 SE auto, Java / Alpacca

I find turning the phone off does the job.  In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
