Fault codes, lovely fault codes
Hello
Bought myself an FCR (Fault Code Reader) from Colin and checked for some faults and I found a few listed below. I have an SE MY05 manual which runs great and has no problems (that I can tell) whotsoever. I've searched and found a few answers, but can anyone give me an idea as to what these really mean please? I've also read that some of the `U codes - Lost Communication` are nothing to be too concerned about.
I have blanked my EGR's and I have fitted a diesel tunning box from Paramount performance in Slough for better MPG over 18 months. All runs fine!
BAB02 – Low frequency coil. General signal failure: Signal bias level is out of range.
B1B70 - Local interconnection network bus circuit 2. General electrical failure.
B1C57 – Passive start ignition relay coil. General electrical failure: Circuit short to ground or open. Intermittent.
U1055 - Lost communication instrument cluster control module. Bus signal/message failure. Missing a message.
U0102 - Lost communication transfer case module. Bus signal/message failure. Missing a message. Historic.
U0132 - Lost communication ride level control. Bus signal/message failure. Missing a message. (I do have a slightly higher ride height and a rear height sensor was changed 1 year ago, other than that it goes up and down nicely. Maybe needs to be recalibrated/or just left?)
Any idea folks?
Gotta say, FCR reads flipping quick!!! Great service from Colin at the girls at Blackbox.

The 'Lost Communication' faults I wouldn't worry about as it's quite normal for CAN systems to drop signals, just clear them.Faultmate MSV2 EXTREME

Unless you are trying to diagnose a specific issue , I wouldn't worry too much . Its scary how many faults my Faultmate reports , without the car having any problems. I just ignore and clear them

I have the same top 3 faults on mine and they say permanent and can not be cleared.
Looking at the details and the time and miles since they were stored and it shows they occured when the car was new built and almost at 0 miles and the days past were before it was purchased.
