Rear windows - bounce rather than stay closed |
|
Hi - reasonably new to the forum. New D4 picked up beginning of last month. Rear windows bounced on closing. Called dealer who told me to 'reset' by holding switch for a period of time. Now read about the software upgrades elsewhere on the forum which included a fix for the window problem. Wondering if my vehicle had this software upgrade done or not (it was a dealer stock vehicle - VIN number is pre the software fix). Anyone know the software version for the upgrade so that I can check it in the vehicle diagnostics screens?

Ask the dealer if they carried out the Assurance Program before delivery to you.

I think that the software fix referred to was to do with global closing where the right rear passenger window didn't close. In my case, it didn't move at all so didn't 'bounce'. You may have another problem there. Mine' s been cured with the AP upgrades.

Software update was to fix windows not closing.
Global close had to be activated, as some vehicle left the factory with it not activated.
