Could anyone advise me how much this would cost? I was going to sell my spare sets of wheels and just buy new tyres for the wheels on my car, but was advised that it would be worth paying for the alignment so not to damage new tyres.
Thanks, Kev.

Mine has just been in to a main dealer, it is 3 hours work (apparently) but they were correcting previous work so I don't know how much it is. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Think you will get nasty shock if you go main stealer Double what Bigdave paid then add a couple of ponys. Theirs a couple of recent threads about 4 wheel alignment and i've contributed to a couple of them. Lets us know were you eventualy take it to and how much it was and more importantly did they do the job correctly by the way good luck

To check would take 30 mins, if everything was within spec & no adjustments required.
You really need at least a couple of hours to do it properly, road test, recheck etc.

I was quoted £275 + vat from dealer.
That was only to correct the alignment the for the tyres were wearing big time on the inside edges. They were the last ones to touch it - "nothing to with us" typical!
